Why did you choose an internship in the U.S.?
I have always had a dream of going abroad to try living in another country, to experience the culture and just try to live in a different, new way. But it is really hard to apply for jobs in other countries and to find a new place to stay and all that. This opportunity that was given to me was perfect. It is studies still, and it is only for 6 months, so I didn’t have to quit anything or sell my apartment. It was a long process, but it was totally worth it. Read about the visa process here!
What were your expectations?
Well I just decided that I was going to come in to this company with an attitude that I want to learn about exactly everything, and that I was going to say yes to whatever they asked me to do. That attitude has given me a lot, because I got to do a lot of cool stuff and I have developed so much already.
