We Have The J-1 Visa For YouThe type of visa that you need for an internship in the U.S. is called a J-1 visa. It allows you to do skilled work training up to 12 or 18 months depending on your eligibility. How To Apply For An Internship/Traineeship Visa
Applying for a J1-visa is a rather lengthy process, but we are here to help you make it as easy as possible. To clarify the different steps of the application, we have created the image below. We typically advise you to apply at least 2-3 months before the start of your internship to give you enough time to receive your visa. If everything runs smoothly, it takes about 4-6 weeks from the time you send in your complete application until you have your visa and are ready to travel!
