The North-West Passage specializes in helping northern European students and graduates come to the U.S. on internships and traineeships. We are an official visa agent for citizens and residents of Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland.

We primarily focus on helping students and graduates whom have located their own placement and need a sponsor to help them with the J-1 visa. With over 10 years of experience, we make the visa process easy and smooth. 

The North-West Passage originate from Sweden, but we are located in San Diego, California. With a good understanding of both northern Europe and the U.S., we understand the European educational system and can guide you through all the aspects of eligibility, process etc. We are looking forward helping you with your next adventure!

We are based out of beautiful San Diego, California and believe that everyone ought to experience the joys of travel and working abroad at least once. 

At The North-West Passage we are all former Northerners ourselves, with personal experiences of coming to America for education.  We realized that we are the perfect group to help other young people explore the endless opportunities that exist in the U.S. ​

Through our previous work and our own history with immigration, we consider ourselves experts on how to find the best route from North to West and those nuances that can make the difference between a stressful experience and a happy, memorable one.
