Hello from the other side (of the Atlantic)

Hi, My name is Anja and I’m an event management student from Sweden. I chose to have my three month long internship here at The North-West Passage, located in beautiful (and sunny!) San Diego, California. 

As an intern, my tasks is to run the social media marketing for TNWP, which for example means that I will be the one posting in the blog you see on our website. I will also be running our Facebook, Instagram and much, much more!

The reason of why I wanted to have my internship in the U.S. is simple!
I wanted to challenge myself and get the experience of working abroad. When I realized I could combine my passion for traveling with an internship, nothing was going to stand in my way.
I believe that an internship here in the states is something more than a boost to my resume, it’s a life changing experience as well and I would encourage everyone who is thinking of either applying for a summer job or doing an internship to go for it! It will be the best thing you do.
