Housing in San Diego

Finding housing in San Diego is very easy and there are many websites you can look at. ​

The easiest way before you arrive to San Diego is to rent an Airbnb or a hotel room  the first couple of days so you have the chance to see where you want to live. Go on views and don't pay anything before you have the chance to see it first. And keep in mind that the standard apartments can vary from back home in Scandinavia. 

Facebook
There are many San Diego Facebook groups that you can join that can be very helpful.

Private people and companies upload on these website for short and longterm stay. 

Cost
Depending on were you want to live the cost of housing vary. Do you want to live near the ocean at Pacific Beach/Mission Beach or in Downtown (a big city in San Diego), what do you prefer?

- Pacific Beach/Mission Beach 
Cost about $700-900/month (ca 6300-8100kr/mån). The price is a little bit higher but you will live close to the ocean. 

- Downtown
Housing in Downtown is a little bit cheaper then close by the beach.
Here you can find housing around $500/month (ca 4500kr/mån).

Mission Beach
I (Amanda) live with three other girls in Mission Beach. The monthly rent is $3000 and everything is included in the price. We pay $750/month each (ca 6750kr/mån). Here are some pictures of our apartment, two bedroom and one bathroom.
